After his debut with the Berliner Philharmoniker in 2008 (“Los Ritmos de la Noche”), conductor Gustavo Dudamel returned to the Waldbühne, Berlin in 2014 with Tchaikovsky’s Symphonic Fantasy “The Tempest” and the “Fantasy Overture” from Romeo and Juliet. The summer concerts of the Berliner Philharmoniker at the Waldbühne ― one of the most appealing outdoor amphitheaters in Europe ― are counted among the most popular classical music concerts in the world.
